I am getting so impatient waiting for spring to get here, who else is with me??
In honor of my impatience, I decided that the weather yesterday was warm enough to rock my favorite new slides and busted knee jeans. I just LOVE the look of busted knees, and especially black ones like these. I ordered these online from A+F, they were on sale for half off ($44) when I got them, and I'm so obsessed with them I may have to order a second pair. As a matter of fact, as I'm writing this they are on sale again for half off - hurry and grab a pair!! I think it's hilarious that I'm back to wearing Abercrombie jeans, which I was completely obsessed with in high school. Now here I am in my mid-twenties in love all over again. These ones in particular are so good because they're extra stretchy and soft, it feels like you're wearing leggings. They're the 'Simone high-rise super skinny', and the exposed buttons just stole my heart. I joke and call them my "mom jeans", because my mom definitely wore jeans and shorts that were high-rise with the exposed button when I was a kid. Her's weren't quite as skinny though lol!
So, I'm also obsessing over these slides!! They're a super cute dupe on the Gucci fur slides that have been popular for a little while now. I actually like the look of these ones better too, and they're only $27!! What a steal! I'll tell you, Lulu's mules are just so on point. I 'stalked' these for over a month to get my size though, because they seem to sell out really quickly. It is recommended to order a half-size up, so I ordered a 9, I'm usually an 8.5 and it's possible that I would've been better off even ordering a 9.5. The 9 does fit though without my feet hanging over (ew, hate that!). Right now they have every size except 8 and 8.5, so if you're looking to purchase them now would be the time. One thing I do love about Lulu's though is that you can put yourself on an email list to be notified when something will be back in stock. On top of that they also give you a date on when it should be back in stock, so I keep that in mind when I'm planning my future purchases.
